The Deerfield River Fishing Report 3/19/2020: Fishing is good out here with a steady pick of rainbows and more importantly-shots at big wild browns. Fishing is mostly being done with stoneflies and girdle bugs and midges but the streamer bite just picked up as the water temps are starting to rise. I will continue to do float trips in spite of the Coronavirus outbreak. Common sense measures such as bringing your own food and drinks, maintaining safe distances and wiping down equipment with a bleach solution and bringing your own rods is recommended. Fishing is a great way to get outdoors and get some much needed mental health therapy with some nice trout! Hopefully this thing will be behind us soon.
